Where to Find Bougie Cruise Toiletries at Sea (2025 Edition)

We’ll be honest – the Bjarni & Drake team are total suckers for a fancy shampoo. Give us some Korean serum or bougie conditioner, and we’re basically in heaven. It’s one of those little luxury details that turns a good vacation into an amazing one. Part of our job is knowing exactly where to find these kinds of elevated experiences for our clients.

Here’s the reality about bougie cruise toiletries in 2025 – the golden age of designer brands is ending. Luxury names like Bulgari are disappearing (Silversea discontinued their Bulgari products as of July 1st, 2024), replaced by cruise lines’ own custom formulations. But don’t despair. We did the research on where you can still find genuinely premium brands at sea, plus which cruise line collaborations are actually worth your time. Trust us, your hair will thank you.

1. Diptyque Paris: The French Fragrance House at Sea

Found on: The Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection

Parisian luxury fragrance house Diptyque can be found on The Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection. All suites feature beloved French company “Diptyque Paris bath amenities” as standard. If you prefer spa-quality products, you can request cult Brit spa company ESPA amenities instead. A January 2025 passenger noted: “when I asked if I could swap out my toiletries for the spa brand, the next day it was done.”

2. Malin + Goetz: The New York Luxury Standard

Found on: Royal Caribbean Suite Classes & Virgin Voyages (All Cabins)

New York-based luxury brand Malin + Goetz is appearing on cruises in recent years. Malin + Goetz toiletries in “large pump bottles” are now standard in all Royal Caribbean Suite Classes (Sea, Sky, and Star). Recent guests on Wonder of the Seas Grand Suite confirmed in October 2024 that “toiletries were Malin + Goetz-brand shampoo, conditioner, body wash and lotion in large pump bottles”.

Adult-only Virgin Voyages takes it further by providing “upmarket Malin + Goetz toiletries made especially for Virgin Voyages” in suites. Regular cabins instead have Red Flower brand shampoo, conditioner and body wash in wall-mounted dispensers in the shower.

3. L’Occitane & Hermès: French Luxury Survives

Found on: Regent Seven Seas Cruises

French luxury brand L’Occitane is a perennial favorite, their hand creams have legions of fans. All accommodations on-board Regent Seven Seas vessels are suites and each suite’s bathroom is stocked with L’Occitane toiletries as standard.  The L’Occitane collection includes generous bottles of shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, body lotion, and fresh soaps, plus lavender foaming bath.

But if you’re really splurging, Penthouse Suites and higher also get Hermès amenities – yes, the same Hermès behind those $10,000 handbags.

4. Molton Brown: London’s Signature Scents

Found on: Seabourn Cruises

London-based luxury brand Molton Brown has created something genuinely special with Seabourn. After 14+ years of partnership, they offer exclusive fragrances you literally can’t get anywhere else. The “Immersive Samphire & Eucalyptus” collection uses samphire harvested from the French Atlantic coast, while the “Inspiring Basil & Vetiver” line features Vietnamese basil oil and Haitian vetiver.

5. Beekman 1802: American Artisanal Brand

Found on: Princess Cruises (Rolling out fleet-wide 2025)

American luxury brand Beekman 1802, known for their goat milk skincare, is Princess’s answer to the toiletry upgrade trend. They’re rolling out Beekman 1802 products to replace generic Lotus Spa brand across their fleet. It started on the Sun Princess and is expanding to most ships throughout 2025, according to Cruise Critic commenters.

Recent passengers specifically mentioned these products were “quite nice” and lightly scented, a significant step up from generic cruise toiletries. The line includes separate shampoo, conditioner, body wash, hand soap, and lotion.

6. Elemis: British Spa Brand Done Right

Found on: Holland America Line (All Cabins)

British spa brand Elemis is a staple of cruise line spas, but Holland America provides it in every cabin. You’ll find shampoo, conditioner, and soap in your stateroom regardless of your cabin category. The quality is legitimately good. Reddit feedback from November 2024 praised the products: “10/10, no sensitivity notes” – passengers love that these products are gentle but effective. It’s refreshing when a cruise line doesn’t reserve the good stuff for suite guests only.
